They also have a mutual restraining order preventing them from doing things like changing insurance policies or turning off utilities until the divorce is finalized. Pedro claims in his filing that Chantel has been taking money from their business account “out of spite and to prohibit the Plaintiff (Pedro) from meeting his monthly living expenses and needs,” which has led him to seek a restraining order.
Since Pedro and Chantel told Us in October 2020 that they weren’t ready to start a family, they didn’t have any children during their marriage. The two of them “practice how to make babies, but we know we’re not [doing] it yet,” she said. We’ve been doing nothing but practicing the right method. As far as I’m concerned, that’s the end of the conversation.
Chantel needs to finish school [first], her ex-husband chimed in. Perhaps she is considering graduate school.
The couple was concerned about giving their children a “perfect” life, which they defined as one free of hardship. “I don’t want to make the same mistakes that my father made to me,” Pedro said. That’s what I focus on most. To that end, I plan to provide my kid with a good education, a healthy diet, a comfortable wardrobe, and plenty of stimulating activities. That is something I place a high priority on. I hope to be a great dad to my kids.

Throughout the fourth season, Chantel had her doubts about Pedro’s close relationship with Antonella Barrenechea, a coworker in his real estate office.
During a day off, I decided to get the house in order and start dinner that night. “I called you at 8:30 and asked where you were, and you told me that you and Antonella were at the mall,” Chantel said in a July 2022 episode. You’re her personal chauffeur, picking her up and dropping her off at the office and the auto shop, catering to her every whim and fancy.
Pedro said he wasn’t cheating on Chantel with Antonella, but she still suspected infidelity even though they were married. About six weeks after Pedro’s initial divorce filing, Chantel filed her own counterclaims, citing “adultery by the petitioner” and “cruel treatment” as the grounds for their divorce.
Is Pedro Jimeno Dating Anyone Right Now?
Even though Pedro hasn’t found a new love interest, his sister Nicole Jimeno is eager for him to find someone else.
I can’t wait to meet my new sister-in-law. “I’m ready for Pedro to have another girlfriend,” she told the producers after learning of Pedro’s divorce. The time has come for me to meet the new family. That family, I pray, will be superior to Chantel’s.
