Blake was born on August 27, 1994, into the family of Robert and Therese Bartchak. During his junior year at Brunswick High School, he worked at Buehler’s Grocery. His life’s work at Brunswick High School was his passion for football.

Blake Bartchak sadly died on June 3, 2012. Guests were welcome to pay their respects at St. Ambrose Catholic Church (929 Pearl Road, Brunswick 44212) on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, between 2 and 8 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial that was held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. will be officiated by Fathers Bob Stec and John Carlin.
Surviving him are his loving parents Bob and Terri, siblings Brent and Brittany, grandparents Gerald and Maureen Cooney Gerencser and Donald and MaryAnn Bartchak, aunts Deborah and Joe VonAlt, Jean and Uncle John Verzi, aunt Rick Bartchak, Uncle Todd and Aunt Traci Grabowski, and uncle Ted Gerencser, along with a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all those he touched and knew. Sean Egan posted on Facebook:

What is Blake Bartchak’s Cause of Death?
On June 3, 2012, he died in a crash in northeast Ohio, which also claimed the lives of three other adolescents, just before he was to graduate from high school. Blake and four other teenagers were inside the automobile as it sailed into the air, collided, and overturned onto its roof at a railroad crossing.
