PlayStation Plus games for the month of February have been announced, and they include Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Available now, the second-most-recent expansion to Bungie’s looter shooter. In October 2019, slightly more than three years after its initial release, Destiny 2’s main game became free-to-play.
However, only the bare bones of the game are available for free play. You’ll need to buy the expansion that includes things like raids, dungeons, and additional story missions before you can access most of the game’s content.
However, in this scenario, the Beyond Light add-on will be made available to PlayStation Plus members at no additional cost. This means they can participate in the Empire Hunts, raid the Deep Stone Crypt, and obtain brand-new exotic gear.
The normal price for the add-on is $29.99. Thus, this is a quite delicious supplement. It’s a fantastic approach to increase interest in the game ahead of the February 28 release of the Lightfall expansion.
This month, PlayStation Plus members can download not three, but four games at no cost.
Destiny 2’s Excellent Beyond Light DLC Is Free For PlayStation Plus Members
The latest PlayStation Plus freebie, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, is the highlight of the company’s catalog of games. Fans of the impending Lightfall expansion on PS4 and PS5 will be pleased to hear that the 2020 downloadable content (DLC) will be available at the end of this month.
There are story missions in Beyond Light, a raid, a full arsenal, and the ultimate reward: the ability to use the chilling Stasis subclass of Darkness powers. The subclass, the first new elemental class in Destiny’s history, grants the Guardian additional abilities that let them freeze, delay, and shatter their foes.
When Destiny 2: Lightfall launches on February 28 for PS5, PS4, and other platforms, Guardians will gain access to a new subclass power called Strand.
