At least four individuals were shot and wounded on Saturday night during a celebration of life event held at an apartment building in east Harris County, according to the HCSO.
The 200 block of Uvalde Road is where the shooting took place.
The ceremony was held in memory of a person who had been buried just before the incident.
Gunfire broke out when around 50 individuals were gathering in the parking area of The Selena apartment building on Uvalde.
According to the sheriff’s office, there were “various sorts” of round casings on the ground, which led detectives to assume there were many shooters and firearms.
