How did Kamren Kinchens Get Injured?
Kinchens was hurt late in the fourth quarter of Saturday, September 9 game while trying to tackle Aggies receiver Ainias Smith. We’ve included a tweet about the incident below:

As Kinchens remained on the ground, his colleagues quickly gestured for assistance. As the 20-year-old received medical attention, players from both sides crowded around him. After a long time, Kinchens was eventually dragged off the field.

Kinchens was removed from the field and placed on a stretcher after a few minutes. Ryder Center received him. Tests on Kinchens seemed to be very normal, according to Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal. Kinchens was awake and spoke with the medical professionals as he left the field. Says Cristobal:
“We’re going to head over there right after I get done with this press conference to see how he’s doing but it seems like we’re going to be fine.”

When Was Kamren Kinchens Discharged From the Hospital?

The hospital released Kamren Kinchens early on Sunday, September 10. The football program released the following news release:
“The football program would like to thank the Ryder Center and the University of Miami Health System staffs for their tremendous care and immediate response in support of Kam.”
