La Brea Season 3 Renewal Status
Fans may breathe easy now that they know La Brea will surely return to the screen for a third season. A second season’s renewal is not unexpected given the show’s obvious success and the generally positive reviews it has received from viewers and critics alike.
Furthermore, the show has been very successful for NBC. The first season premiered in September 2021, and it quickly became the most-watched new series of the fall season among adults 18–49.
In addition to becoming the best drama of the 2021-22 TV season as a whole, it also won several other awards. On September 27th, the second season premiere drew in 0.49 in the demo and roughly 4 million viewers across Live+Same Day. A total of 0.39 and 3.6M people have seen the second episode thus far.
As an alternative, the official NBC Entertainment Twitter account also informed its fans that season three of LaBrea would be returning to the network. They wrote, “The epic adventure continues. #LaBrea will return for Season 3 on NBC.” Check out the press release down below:

What To Expect From La Brea Season 3?
We’d like to draw your attention to the fact that, despite the show’s recent renewal by the network, an official premiere date has not yet been set. However, it has been believed that the next season will be broadcast on NBC in September of 2023 or 2024. This would be during the fall of the 2023-2024 television season.
However, it is anticipated that it would air on NBC at the same time every week, at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesdays, with subsequent episodes being made accessible to stream on Peacock. This, of course, is just conjectural.
Therefore, we advise viewers to be patient and follow all the social media platforms for the series to get the most up-to-date information about the upcoming third season. Considering we’ve only reached the middle of Season 2, we don’t have much to say about what may happen in Season 3. In December, Appelbaum revealed some details to TV Fanatic.
Future directions for the show are something we’ve given a lot of thought to. I’ve been planning Season 3 for a while, and now we’re starting to put together the details. I don’t want to spoil the end of Season 2 just yet because there’s so much television for people to watch.
We can, however, give you an idea of what to anticipate from the upcoming second season. According to Zea’s comments to TV Line, the entire cast will undergo a significant change due to “some event.” I’ll give away the ending by saying there’s a change of clothes. All of you,” she pleaded. The actress also shared some exciting news about what’s to come in the love triangle between Eve, Gavin, and Levi.
Just because Levi is in a different era, Zea argued, doesn’t mean the world’s issues have moved along with him. As Gavin puts it, “Now [Eve and Gavin] have to truly confront each other about what happened and who’s to blame, who was really harmed and who is right. The risks increase when you’re dealing with [prehistoric] creatures and regular acts of violence and destruction. Because of this, the emotional stakes are raised even higher.
The following actors are confirmed to return for Season 4 of their respective series: Michelle Vergara Moore, Tonantzin Carmelo, and Tonantzin Carmelo, Lily Santiago, Josh McKenzie, Veronica St. Clair, Eoin Macken, Jon Seda, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chiké Okonkwo, Zyra Gorecki, Jack Martin, Veronica St. Clair, Rohan Mirchandaney, Lily Santiago, and Jack Martin.
David Appelbaum created La Brea, and he serves as an executive producer on the show together with Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Chris Hollier, Adam Davidson, Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, Ken Woodruff, Arika Lisanne Mittman.
