Man Shot At Family Dollar Parking Lot Dies

According to police, a guy was shot outside a store in the 10400 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard and died.

According to the Kansas City Police Department, when officers arrived at a Family Dollar, they discovered an injured male in the parking lot.

He was transferred to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

Everyone who works at the Family Dollar business and may have witnessed something has been urged to call the police right now, according to KCPD Ofc. Donna Drake, the fatal shooting marked the 30th homicide in Kansas City in 2023.

As of 6:50 p.m., the police agency had no suspect information.

One day before the event, a woman was killed in a shooting in south Kansas City.

On Sunday night, Darryl Brown was killed in the 8400 block of Highland Avenue, marking another homicide.
