When Disney+ launched last year, Moon Knight made quite a splash. There was much excitement among readers at the prospect of a new superhero, who was being called “the Batman of the Marvel universe.” Naturally, we uncovered a surprising discovery.
Fans flocked to see this fantastic adaptation due to Oscar Isaac’s brilliant performance and the intriguing tale by Jeremy Slater. When Season 1 concluded with Marc having a third personality he was unaware of, however, viewers were left wanting more.
Many viewers assumed a second season was certain after the shocking ending. So, now you know everything there is to know about the second season of Moon Knight.
Will We See Moon Knight Again?
The premiere date for Season 2 of Moon Knight has not been set, and Marvel Studios has not yet confirmed it. The release window can be cut down, however, by considering the MCU’s plans for the next few years in addition to rumors and reports.
Moon Knight Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 of Moon Knight is highly unlikely to premiere until at least 2025. There’s no way Marvel Studios could squeeze this into their schedule if production started right now.
One reason is that Marvel Studios has not yet announced that there would be a second season. Second, production hasn’t even begun yet, and it needs to be about to start if the show is going to debut on Disney+ in early 2024.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe content scheduled for distribution on Disney+ in 2019 is already quite full. With the release of Ironheart, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and Daredevil: Born Again (which will have 18 episodes), that time period will account for more than half of the year’s weekly release schedule.
Even if the project doesn’t get off the ground by the end of 2023 (although the most recent update shows encouraging indicators), it may still feature Echo.
