On Monday, Kadokawa revealed the two major cast members and the 2024 launch date for Nujima’s Mysterious Disappearances television anime (Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi, or literally, Mysteries, Maidens, and Mysterious Disappearances). The principal actors are:
- Sumireko Ogawa is Fairouz Ai.
- Ren Adashino played by Daiki Yamashita
Sumireko Ogawa, an aspiring author who enjoys mysteries and works at a bookstore with a kid named Ren Adashino, is the main character of the contemporary strange Romanesque tale. They observe weird events and make an effort to unravel riddles.

In October 2019, Nujima published the manga on Shogakukan’s Yawaraka Spirits website. The fifth volume of the manga’s compilation book was released by Shogakukan on January 12 and the sixth volume will follow on July 12.
