It seems like manga series are leaking these days. There are certain books that don’t wind up appearing online until well after their release date. For years, leakers have targeted Shueisha’s print comics, and popular titles are constantly the first to leak. Additionally, the creator of Oshi no Ko is speaking out against leakers as the book attracts more readers than ever.
The creator of Oshi no Ko, Mengo Yokoyari, is the source of the update. After chapter 124 leaks appeared online, the author wrote a message for followers to read and shared it on social media. The creator acknowledged that leaks will inevitably occur but wished to keep the spoilers hidden from the broader audience.
“For Oshi no Ko, leaked images are the worst kind of issue, and [some] have just surfaced. I have been bothered by this for years. I know what day of the week to watch out for leaks if [the series] is in Shonen Jump, but what day is dangerous for Young Jump? I wish that the fun of reading for the first time isn’t stolen. Please don’t upload or spread anything that looks like a leak,” Yokoyari wrote.

Fans of Oshi no Ko will understand naturally why chapter 124 has been the attention of so many leakers. Oshi no Ko is now going through some crazy chapters, in addition to the popularity of the manga growing as a result of its anime. The fan community was astounded to witness Aqua and Ruby be honest with one another about their pasts earlier this month.
From that point on, information about Ruby’s previous relationship with Aqua appeared in the most unexpected of ways, leading many people to worry if the twins would develop an actual incestuous relationship. Leakers followed after the Oshi no Ko update for clout because the solution was anticipated to go online in chapter 124.
You can read the manga as planned if you want to heed Yokoyari’s suggestion, but only after a delay. Oshi no Ko’s English distribution is overseen by Yen Press and its print releases are delayed from Japan. If you don’t mind the chapters being in Japanese, you can always import copies of Young Jump. However, Oshi no Ko will be out of our reach for some time if a simulpub agreement is not made.
