Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Pete Best (on drums) were the original members of the band. Ringo Starr joined the group in 1962, succeeding Pete Best.

When he’s not on tour, his publishing company, MPL Communications, rakes in tens of millions of dollars annually from royalties and licensing fees for his songs and the music of other artists. Paul McCartney: Still Going Strong at 81
McCartney can easily launch a new world tour every year due to his extensive back catalog. The now-81-year-old has been performing for over 55 years, beginning with the Beatles in the 1960s and continuing to this day. For example, McCartney made an incredible $4 million in every city on his tour in 2015–2016.
Superstars Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, and Jay-Z all made more within the same time period from their respective tours. McCartney also provides, which is why his followers keep coming back for more. On tour, he usually performs for three hours, providing his fans with plenty of music for their money.
At Live Aid, Paul gave a performance. Super Bowl XXXIX’s halftime show featured him. Revenue from his 2002 tour was $126 million. In 2010, he made $93 million from his tour. In 2014, he made $71 million on a tour that included 80 shows in 20 different countries. His total income for 2016 was $56.5 million.
He performed in 15 cities across the United States and Brazil in 2017, earning $54 million. He was the featured performer at the 2018 edition of Austin City Limits, which took place in the fall. McCartney is an unstoppable machine who has no plans to slow down any time soon.
