Peacock Restores RHOA S15 Ep After Backlash

RHOA Season 15 Episode 6

After receiving feedback from viewers, Peacock has decided to restore the most recent episode of Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Bravo Erases Nene Leakes from RHOA Intro

The reality show airs on Bravo on Sunday nights and is available on Peacock the following day. While Episode 6 of RHOA was accessible on Peacock on Monday, some subscribers complained on social media that they were unable to watch it.

When we restored the show, the first few seconds were the most noticeable difference. The initial broadcast began with the RHOA title card, followed by the voiceover “Previously on…” and a glitch to the Season 4 title card.

Cynthia Bailey, Kim Zolciak, Kandi Burruss, Shereé Whitfield, and Phaedra Parks were the featured housewives. Nene Leakes, a former member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta who sued the network over a discriminatory work atmosphere but withdrew the suit last year, was conspicuously absent.

As an integral part of the series’ history, viewers felt betrayed by Bravo when the network removed Leakes from the series’ opening credits. The title card for Season 15 remains glitched in the altered version found on Peacock, rather than returning to the original introduction. Animated GIF available down below:

After learning on Monday that Bravo had left her out of the show’s introduction, Leakes moved to Twitter to apologize to her followers.

“Thank you tweetie pies for all of your DM’s and comments! I see everything you are sending to me! It’s really just a shame people can do these things and get away wit [sic] it. If only you really knew! If only you knew,” she tweeted.

It is unclear why Bravo made the decision to edit the episode. The network has not commented on the matter.
