The year 2012 will go down in the annals of Succession star Sarah Snook as the closing of one chapter and the opening of another.
She told Entertainment Tonight she and her husband, Dave Lawson, are expecting their first child on Monday at the New York City premiere of the fourth and final season of her HBO series.
The 35-year-old celebrity announced that she is 32 weeks pregnant in the interview. “It’s exciting,” she remarked upon hearing the news. “I feel great.”

Succession is the Emmy-winning show where Snook played the role of Shiv Roy. On Sunday, the fourth and last season of the program will premiere. She also has a role in the Netflix horror film Run Rabbit Run, which premiered at Sundance this year.
In an interview with, Vogue Australia in October 2021 if she and Australian actor and comedian Lawson had secretly tied the knot earlier that year, the star revealed the news. They fell in love while she was quarantined in Melbourne at the start of the pandemic last year, she said.
“We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, travelled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic,” she continued. “We’ve just never been single at the same time. I proposed, and we got married in February in my backyard.”

When Did Sarah Snook And Dave Lawson Meet?
Snook and Lawson became fast friends after meeting for the first time in 2014. As recently as 2018, Snook appeared on Dave’s Shed Show, Lawson’s web-based chat show.
Snook told Vogue Australia that their relationship is “completely platonic” and that they have been friends since 2014. They have also shared an apartment, gone on trips together, and are always happy to see each other.
In early 2020, when the pandemic struck, Snook and Lawson were both quarantined. Snook claims the two “fell in love” while holed up at home, despite having “never been single at the same time.”
The short romantic comedy Pause, in which Snook acted and directed, also played a role in their friendship blossoming into romance. The actress told the site it signified a turning point in their relationship when she started to view Lawson from a new perspective.
“Well, that’s intriguing,” Snook said after he realized what had happened.
Snook took things into her own hands after falling for Lawson and proposed to him on Halloween of 2020. The pair eloped from Australia to Snook’s house in Brooklyn, New York, in February 2021. The ceremony took place in the garden.
Snook matched Lawson’s outfit by donning a pair of Blundstone boots and a vintage Chloé coat made of velvet.
