Scum Pc Requirements

Scum Pc Requirements In their description of SCUM, Gamepires, and Croteam call it “an open-world survival game with unprecedented levels of character customization, control, and growth.” They make a valid point. The first impression is that it’s familiar. But when you start playing about with the mechanisms, you see that it’s more than that. An incomprehensible amount of micromanagement is in effect.

Does This Have a Background?

Yes! You play the part of a prisoner who finds himself isolated on an island. Pretty shortly, you realize that your sentence is being converted into a bloodsport for the viewing public. However, there are many perils in your path as you try to discover the culprits and stop them. The mystery controllers are not only controlling and ruining the world around you, but they are also encouraging the prisoners to kill each other for their freedom. There is also the challenge of avoiding natural disasters.

Tell Me, What Do You Do Inside of It?

You’ll spend the bulk of your time trying to remove the monitoring chip from your neck and then escaping. However, getting there means keeping track of health, scrounging for equipment and crafting supplies, avoiding the occasional zombie, and fighting other players.

Zombie,” I Thought You Said “Brain”

In such a case, you’re right. Not only are there tough criminals stranded on the island with you, but there are also mindless, zombie-like people roaming the region looking for someone to kill. There’s a fair chance that they were transformed into this form by a neck-chip incident like the one that befell you. The show’s creators utilize these puppets as anything from scouts to siege weaponry in a brazen display of authority. Masses of them can swarm a building and destroy it in one coordinated effort. You should take great caution around those individuals.

How Will These Producers Make Your Life Harder

They, of course, are in charge of everything, from the animals to the climate. A bite from one of these genetically engineered bugs might seriously incapacitate you. Maybe you’re not doing enough to keep them at bay, so they start a wildfire somewhere at random to flush you out of hiding. Perhaps you’re becoming too effective with your rifle or bow at long range, and so they’ve summoned a rainfall to level the playing field. The producers are the biggest jerks.

The SCUM Software Company Gamepires Has Been Acquired by Jagex

Gamepires is a very successful game development firm of 50+ experienced developers best known for its open-world survival title, SCUM, and today Jagex, the premier developer and publisher of community-driven games, announced the acquisition of Gamepires.

Gamepires is a Croatian indie studio that has been making games since 2010. SCUM was released by Gamepires in 2018, and it quickly became a critical and commercial success, selling over 3 million copies and maintaining a position in Steam’s Top 100 most played games. The community-driven strategy taken by Gamepires and Jagex will allow SCUM’s upcoming multi-platform 1.0 release to realize its full potential.

Jagex, best known for its RuneScape franchise, will use its extensive knowledge of community-driven games and its position as an international publisher to help propel SCUM to the forefront of open-world survival games. Jagex is constantly expanding its family of community-driven studios and live service games through acquisitions and third-party publishing, making it a leader in the industry.

CEO Phil Mansell remarked, “Building gaming communities are the lifeblood of what we do at Jagex,” and that’s why the company is so happy to have Gamepires on board. “We have faith in Tomislav, Andrej, and their brilliant team, who have created an incredible open-world survival game, fostered a highly involved community, and formed a strong, lucrative business. Our company, along with the Jagex Partners publishing team, is committed to making SCUM an even bigger success around the world.”

“Partnering with Jagex gives us the potential to take SCUM to the next level,” stated Gamepires’ Creative Director and co-founder, Tomislav Pongrac. “Our shared values with Jagex, a firm with a stellar record for putting players at the center of development, bode well for our future as both business partners and a studio. Incredibly pumped to see where we can take SCUM now that we have established a solid foundation for it.”

In 2021, Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG), a worldwide investment group, purchased Jagex to aid in the company’s expansion through mergers and acquisitions. To paraphrase Michael Wand, Managing Director and Co-Head of the Carlyle Europe Technology Partners advising team: “As a company, we’re happy to help Jagex expand by hiring a new, highly skilled development staff. This expands Jagex’s roster of top-tier developers capable of making games with an emphasis on communities.”

The conditions of the deal were kept secret. The shareholders of Gamepires were advised financially and legally by IMAP and Ostermann & Partners, respectively. Jagex’s legal counsel came from Wolf Theiss, and its financial and tax advice was provided by KPMG.
