Starfield PC Requirements: Time to officially announce it: 2023 is the year of Starfield. The open-world space adventure is Bethesda’s first original role-playing game release in 25 years, and as such, it is surrounded by appropriately galactic levels of hype. Starfield was first announced in 2018, but until that year, just a few hints had been made public about it. With the game’s release date drawing nearer, though, Bethesda’s Todd Howard has been making the rounds doing publicity interviews and giving interviews about Starfield, painting a more expansive picture of the game’s space travel.
We may have missed Bethesda’s intended 2022 release target for Starfield due to delays, but the clock is ticking. We will keep gathering data on Starfield’s plot, factions, characters, settings, systems, and spacecraft until the game’s release later this year.

Does Srarfield Release In 2023?
The release of Starfield is scheduled for the beginning of 2023. The 11th of November, 2022 was supposed to be the scheduled release date. In May of 2022, Bethesda explained the delay by saying, “The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have enormous goals for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them.” Bethesda’s support site has been kept up to date, and it has been verified that Starfield will still be released in the first part of this year.
Meanwhile, eager followers have been trying to guess the release date in advance of the official announcement. Starfield’s release date is currently supposed to be March 23, 2023, but this is merely conjecture based on numerals teased in the trailer that may be connected to the Wright Brothers’ 1906 patent application for their flying machine. Just How Much Will Starfield Set You Back?

The current standard game price of $70 USD has been raised by Sony, Activision, and Microsoft, ushering in a new era in which video games are prohibitively expensive. Starfield will cost $70 as well, making this the new standard rather than an anomaly. Microsoft has a good habit of immediately making its latest AAA titles available on Xbox Game Pass. Starfield Story So Far
Although the specifics of Starfield’s primary narrative are still unknown, the recent Xbox-Bethesda Games Showcase revealed a great deal more about the game’s world. The first gameplay trailer for Starfield places the action in the year 2330, long after humanity has expanded into space. Humans have become so accustomed to space travel that they have colonized an area 50 light years in diameter surrounding our solar system. To describe this region, we use the term “settled systems.”
The major hub of Starfield is New Atlantis, the capital city of the United Colonies and home to Constellation, “the last bunch of space explorers.” When Starfield first begins, the Spacefarer has just been invited to join a secret society.
But the United Colonies aren’t the only advanced civilization with spaceships. Another group that calls Akila City home is the Freestar Collective. Even if hostilities between these two groups have ended, the wounds are still deep and the peace is fragile.
Some additional important organizations referenced by Bethesda are the United Colonies, the Freestar Collective, Ryujin Industries, the Crimson Fleet, and House Va’Ruun. Judging by their names alone, you may guess that Ryujin Industries is a huge business, the Crimson Fleet is a group of space pirates, and House Va’Ruun is a religious cult. Given the game’s emphasis on role-playing, it’s safe to assume that you’ll be able to join up with these people and get into all sorts of problems.
Howard announced during the Tokyo Game Show in 2021 that Starfield features over 150,000 lines of speech, more than any previous Bethesda game. Even if you don’t hear a voice for your character, it seems like everyone else does. VASCO, the utility robot, is confirmed to be one of the returning companion characters in Starfield. Howard stated that the main campaign would take between 30 and 40 hours to finish. In comparison, it takes roughly 25 hours to complete Skyrim and about 30 hours to complete the main campaign in Fallout 4.
