One of the biggest phenomena in the music business recently is Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. By the end of November, the singer, who is honoring each of her studio albums from throughout her career and releasing re-recorded versions of them, will have amassed a fortune. Taylor’s generosity has already garnered attention as she prepares to launch an international tour.
As the singer’s US leg of the Eras Tour comes to an end, a story claims that she has given incentives to her tour truck workers. Before her performance in Santa Clara, California, the singer gave a $100,000 check to each truck driver.
Taylor Swift’s $5 Million Gesture to Tour Crew Goes Viral
T-Swift distributed a total of $5 million in bonuses to the tour’s 50 truck drivers. The sum of money was awarded as an “end of tour” bonus, according to sources, as the singer gets ready to continue on to Mexico.
According to Metro, Taylor gave generous gifts to band members, dancers, lighting and sound professionals, chefs, and other staff members in addition to the truck drivers.
Taylor shared images from the Santa Clara event on Instagram, where she was spotted taking part in a unique performance alongside the Haim sisters while they wore outfits from the Bejeweled music video.
It really amazes me that The Eras Tour’s US leg has one more city. This past weekend in Santa Clara, both crowds were raucous and rowdy. I’ll never forget Alana, Este, and Danielle coming out in their Bejeweled video gowns. I thoroughly enjoyed the shows and am looking forward to LA. Six shows are being played at Sofi Stadium today, Taylor stated in the caption.
Taylor, meanwhile, is the first living musician to have four albums simultaneously in the Billboard Top 10 in almost 60 years. Her position as a dominant figure in the music business is further cemented by her achievement.
