After abandoning three kids in a parked car that eventually caught fire, a lady in central Florida was charged with stealing.
According to an arrest complaint acquired by NBC affiliate WESH, Alicia Moore, 24, is accused of shoplifting from Dillard’s at the Oviedo Mall on May 26 while leaving three children in a parked car.
The Oviedo Police Department’s detectives were informed by store security that they “saw Moore and another unknown male begin to shoplift things. Security kept an eye on them for around an hour.

Police claimed that a shopper assisted in removing the kids from the flaming automobile. One youngster reportedly sustained “several first-degree burns, specifically to her face and ears,” according to the arrest report, and they were taken to the hospital and treated for first-degree burns.
Shortly after leaving the store, Moore realized her automobile, which was parked in an accessible spot, had caught fire. Police claim that she dropped the purportedly stolen goods.

Due to the fact that the fire occurred while a criminal was being committed, Moore was arrested and lodged in the Seminole County Jail on charges of severe child negligence and arson. According to WESH, she was also detained on other warrants from various counties that had nothing to do with the event from May 26.
On Friday, Moore appeared in court for the first time and entered a not-guilty plea to the allegations of child negligence and arson.
