Two Adults And An Infant Were Killed In A Shooting At A House

There was a shooting at a North Carolina residence, and two people and a baby were killed, according to the authorities.

Fayetteville, North Carolina police responded to a shooting call in the 1100 block of Bunce Road at 8:28 p.m. on Tuesday, roughly 10 miles south of Fort Bragg.

Authorities in Fayetteville said in a statement that responding police found two adult victims inside a property; both had been shot and were declared dead at the scene.

An infant was also injured by gunfire and transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment. Although two adults were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities did not reveal the age of the child or whether or not the infant was related to either of the deceased adults.

Fayetteville police have not elaborated on the baby’s condition or the extent of their injuries.

While police are still investigating, they have cordoned off the road.

The Homicide Unit of the Fayetteville Police Department has taken up the case, and their work continues. “More details will be made public as they become available.”
