The 2023 TV Award nominees were announced by the Hollywood Critics Association on Tuesday. Season 6 of the anime My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters Special 1 are both up for “Best Streaming Animated Series or TV Movie” awards. They are up against Star Trek: Lower Decks, Harley Quinn, Central Park, and Animaniacs.
“Deku vs. Class A,” the 23rd episode of the season and the 136th overall episode of the entire series, is the exact My Hero Academia episode that Crunchyroll informed ANN is nominated for the category. The awards ceremony was originally scheduled to take place from August 12–13 but has been postponed to future dates because of the Writers Guild of America strike.
