Anne Heche Death, What Happened Heche?
On Wednesday, days after her life support was turned off, the medical examiner-coroner for Los Angeles County declared Anne Heche’s death an accident. The actress, 53, died from smoke inhalation and thermal burns when she crashed her blue Mini Cooper into a Mar Vista home on August 5.

The actress also suffered a sternal fracture due to physical trauma. The actress stayed in a coma in grave condition for almost a week before she was officially pronounced dead on August 11. CNN also received the audio of a frantic 911 call from nearby residents who witnessed Heche’s crash on Wednesday.
The voice can be heard saying, “Someone is opening the back to see if we can enter; they’re kind of trapped… within the car.” As if on cue, another voice yells, “Fire!” According to CNN, a third person has requested hoses. More than an hour and the efforts of 60 firemen were required to put out the fire, as reported by officials.

Anne Heche Personal Life
Her life was profoundly affected by the allegations of sexual abuse by her father when she was young. As time passed, their relationship worsened beyond repair since her mother denied the accusation. Also, she had fallen out of touch with her one surviving sister, who denied Anne’s claims. Anne’s mother and sister didn’t believe her when she said she thought her brother’s vehicle accident was intentional.
While she was seeing Ellen DeGeneres, the media was all up in arms over their connection (1997-2000). She claimed she had never been in another same-sex relationship before and considered having a civil union to make the relationship official if the circumstances warranted it.
There was no damage done to her career by the controversy that surrounded her. She experienced emotional turmoil after her breakup with DeGeneres and required medical attention. Once, in an unusual mood, she was discovered traversing Central California.
She had a son named Homer in March 2002 and divorced her husband, cameraman Coley Laffoon, in 2009. As part of her fight for custody of her kid, she went public with her claims of being a victim and appeared on national television. Her co-star from “Men in Trees,” James Tupper, became her boyfriend, and they welcomed a son, Atlas Heche Tupper, in March of 2009. They never married, and they broke up in 2018.
On August 5, 2022, Anne Heche was in two separate car accidents in the Mar Vista neighbourhood of Los Angeles. She was seriously injured after her automobile slammed into a garage at an apartment complex and subsequently into a residence, starting a fire.
Authorities say she was driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs. A spokesman for Heche reported she had gone into a coma and was in serious condition with fatal brain injury on August 11, 2022. Anne passed away on August 12th, 2022, in Los Angeles, California, six days after the terrible vehicle accident.
