Extend my warmest congrats to Paris Hilton! The socialite, DJ, and model announced the birth of her first child, a son, to her husband, Carter Reum, on 25 January. Hilton announced on Instagram with a photo of her child holding her hand and the remark, “You are already adored beyond words.”
Hilton and Reum, an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, celebrated the marriage a little over a year ago in a lavish Bel-Air ceremony where the bride donned a custom Oscar de la Renta gown. “Carter and I have been friends for nearly 15 years,” Hilton said to Vogue.
We stayed in touch throughout the years and met up again at a 2019 Thanksgiving dinner. On that night, something clicked inside me, and the rest, as they say, is history. The pair got engaged in a whirlwind romance on a secluded island in February of 2021, and they tied the knot just eight months later.
Before the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, Hilton had already announced her intention to conceive her first child via surrogate. Hilton said Kardashian referred her to her fertility expert, Dr. Andy Huang. She and Reum started the naming process in a 2021 podcast interview with journalist Mara Schiavocampo.
